'Prometheus' International Poster Looks Very Familiar
A new international poster for "Prometheus" has been released, but for those of you hoping it would give some insights into the movie's many mysteries, it's a little bit of a letdown. This is pretty much the same poster as the one released in the United States, albeit showing a bit more of that giant stone head that we've seen floating around in the promotional material.

'Prometheus': Damon Lindelof promises an epic
When the enigmatic television series "Lost" came to a close two years ago, show co-creator Damon Lindelof thought he was done working on scripts with shadowy plot lines. Then he got an offer to write "Prometheus," a Ridley Scott-directed science-fiction film whose story has been kept tightly under wraps since its inception.

ALIEN Influence Visible In PROMETHEUS Monster Mask Design
On Saturday night whilst watching Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive (which is awesome by the way) I received a phone call from a highly trustworthy person who'd been having beers with a guy who worked on Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS and the chap had something to show him. That something was a couple of photographs of the early work on a head design for "the alien" in the forthcoming science fiction film.

9 Things We Might Know About The Alien/Prometheus Space Jockey
Alien is a science fiction classic. It introduced the world at large to a good number of incredible talents, like Sigourney Weaver, Ridley Scoot, and H.R. Giger's cavalcade of biomechanical boners with teeth.
But there is one creature from the film that hasn't received a great deal of attention: the Space Jockey.

A look at science fiction in 2012
The trailer for Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" was released last week and, as many have noted, it bears a striking resemblance to the original teaser for the film that acts as its foundation: Scott's 1979 sci-fi classic "Alien." For science-fiction appreciators, the trailer served as a reminder that 2012 has the potential to be one of the strongest years for smart sci-fi in recent memory.

Dear 20th Century Fox,
Looking at the first trailer I'd say, so far so good.
Still, there is a history here. So
in regards to ALIEN3, ALIEN: RESURRECTION, AvP, AvP: R, and PREDATORS.
Can you at least try, TRY not to F*CK this one up too? After two Long Decades; 20 Freaking Years; nearly a Quarter Century, can you just TRY to keep your goddamn hands and malignantly cancerous delusions of adequacy OFF this project and just let Ridley MAKE the movie without ANY of your worthless, incapable, suggestions?
PLEASE?

WATCH TRAILER: Ridley Scott's Prometheus
The director who defined the horror sci-fi genre with Alien and Bladerunner, Ridley Scott, speaks about his upcoming film in the previews. The 30-second spots are counting down the days until the official trailer is released December 22. The previews contain behind-the-scenes footage, brief excerpts, interviews with Scott describing the film as containing dangerous elements that are capable of eviscerating all of them in a heartbeat and things that appear to be small but will actually be enormous.

New Prometheus Image Features Michael Fassbender's Android Character
Has there ever been a better week for amazing trailers? It started on Monday with the moody, epic trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. Yesterday we got our first look at Peter Jackson's return to Middle Earth with the trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. And tomorrow, we'll finally see the trailer for Ridley Scott's mysterious Prometheus. While we're waiting for that one to hit the internets, Empire Online has posted a new still from the flick. It's a new look at Michael Fassbender's character, an android named David.

Exclusive: Ridley Scott Reveals 'Alien' Prequel Details
'I've always avoided sequels, unless I felt there was something fresh,' director says of returning to 1979 classic.
It isn't overstating things to say that Ridley Scott is among the greatest filmmakers of all time, and "Alien" is among the greatest films of all time. So how could anyone not be eager to learn every little detail about his prequel to the 1979 classic?

Fox's 'Alien' Prequel Dead, 'Prometheus' Rises
The Alien prequel is dead and a new Ridley Scott project has been reborn.
Fox has announced that instead of making a much-talked about Alien movie, the project has been reconfigured as an original sci-fi movie, titled Prometheus, with Scott still at the helm and with Noomi Rapace to star.

FeoNote: Too bad. With Ridley (ALIEN, BLADE RUNNER) back in the Driver's seat, H.R. Giger (ALIEN, SPECIES) back in the Creature Design chair, and writer Damon Lindelof (LOST [TV], STAR TREK [2009]) co-helming the screenplay, I thought this might have a chance. Still, I trust Scott that if he pulled the plug, he had a damn good reason. Thanks dude!
